Maihaugen Restaurant

Maihaugen in Lillehammer is a large open-air museum with over 200 buildings from different eras, exhibitions and places to eat.

The Maihaugen Spiseri is located in the visitor center and has a beautiful view of the Garmo stave church.
Here you get cakes, waffles and various lunch dishes. The cafe is open all year round and follows the museum's opening hours.

In summer, you can visit our pleasant eateries outside in the open-air museum.
• Kirkestuen: 23 June–13. August at 11.00-16.30
• Bakeriet in town: 23 June–13. August at 11.00-16.30
• Kiosk at Telthusmoen: All of July.

With us you get great cultural experiences and many activities for children and adults. Maihaugen is open all year round, and in the summer there is a lot of activity with many experiences for young and old.

Lasting summer memories are created here. Would you like to bring your four-legged friend? You are allowed to take your dog in our outdoor areas, but not inside the houses. Remember to keep your dog on a leash and bring dog bags.
