Basecamp Frich’s Hjerkinn is perfectly located for a sustainable travel experience, with Hjerkinn Station just a short walk from the accommodation. From Oslo, the train journey takes approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes, while travelers from Trondheim can reach us in about 2 hours and 10 minutes. By choosing the train, you contribute to a greener journey while enjoying the spectacular scenery on the way to Dovrefjell – all without the need for a car.
We also offer camping facilities:
Motorhome/Caravan: NOK 350 + Shower NOK 65 per person. Electricity: NOK 65 per vehicle per night. Tent for 2 people: NOK 275 per night, including shower. NOK 100 per extra person beyond 2.
Please note that we only have motorhome parking without electricity and unfortunately do not have waste disposal facilities on site.
