Telemarkstunet

The yard consists of eight different buildings and is set up like a farm yard. The twilight hour outside on the barn shed with candles lit both outside and inside is irresistible and enchanting.

All roads lead to Kanthaugen, whether you choose to arrive by chairlift from the bottom of the Lysgårdsbakkene, by car, bus, sleigh ride or on foot. A meal with us can be successfully combined with activities both before and after the visit to Telemarkstunet. We cater for our guests at long tables in the cozy living rooms at Låven, and welcome groups from 15 to 150 people.

History
Telemarkinger does not want the peaceful pursuits from our rich traditions to be forgotten. Therefore Telemarkstunet built in Lillehammer. We still want to tell stories from past times and are deeply proud of.
Telemarkstunet began as an adventure: 12 unemployed hitchhikers who got together and started doing what they really knew, beautiful handicrafts built on ancient traditions. They set up a complete yard in a classic pattern with a... building mass so solid and real that the whole yard seems unshakable. Telemarkstunet was completed on 10 July 1993 and was Telemark county's major investment project in connection with the Olympics in Lillehammer in 1994.
Telemarkstunet is now operated by Frich's, and is now called Telemarkstunet by Frich's.
