Frich’s at Dombås is en route to Trollstigen, no more than 1.5 hours' drive away. Enjoy a good meal at our establishment before you take on this scenic road with its mighty West-Norwegian nature at its best. You will experience staggering views of steep rock faces, high water falls, deep fjords and lush valleys. The road cuts through majestic mountains like Kongen (The King), Dronninga (The Queen) and Bispen (The Bishop).

We strongly recommend a trip up Trollstigen. The plateau at the top and the two spectacular view points on the way up gives full view of the breathtaking landscape, and are designed by Reiulf Ramstad Architects. The view points are constructed in steel and glass, and gives good protection against the weather. The design blends perfectly in with the surroundings, partly carved into the mountain side, partly constructed on stone walls.
