One of the country's best concert halls
Welcome to Maihaugsalen in Lillehammer.
The Maihaugsalen culture house is located in the visitor centre at Maihaugen and is one of the country's best concert halls. The programme varies throughout the year with concerts, theatre, dance, stand-up shows, festivals and other performances.
The stage is also used for major events that are part of the Norwegian Festival of Literature and is a regular venue for the Norwegian National Theatre. The Oslo Philharmonic orchestra has been a regular performer for over 20 years with its New Year concert, and the venue also frequently visited by the Norwegian royal family.
